Following the Southern border of Anatolia, the massive mountain range of the Taurus is one of the longest mountainous chains in the world. Boasting the region’s highest peaks exceeding 3700 m the Aladaglar constitutes its main massif. This mineral chain, which emerges abruptly from the fertile plains of Anatolia, is abundantly covered of snow with a very good quality for ski touring. In this wild space attended by no man, but sheltering in his deep gorges wolves, ibexes, lynxes and rare species of birds each step on your skis is an amazement accentuated by a luminosity which gives strange hues to the limestone. Two high volcanic massifs Mt Erciyes (3916m) and Mt Hasan dagi (3268m) emerged at the tertiary era in the heart of Central Anatolia dominating all the area.
